- The Hedley Environmental Index
The Hedley Environmental Index is a new tool in air quality communications that tracks Hong Kong’s air pollution against deaths, hospital admissions, doctor visits, and related public health costs on a daily basis. The Index was developed by the Hong Kong University and is named in honour of Professor Anthony Hedley, Professor of Community Medicine at the University of Hong Kong since 1988 and long-time researcher on links between air quality and public health in Hong Kong.
